As a Sydney based racer from Oran Park, the 2018 Australian Toyota 86 Racing Series Champion has built an impressive and diverse career as a full-time professional driver, both in competitive and promotional capacities, and has continually challenged the field, in every category he has contested throughout his racing career.

True grit and determination lead to Brook’s dominating performance in 2018, converting his own road car into his race car in the off season after another competitor lost control and speared across the track at Bathurst in the 2017. Returning to ‘old school’ privateer racing, Brook recorded 5 wins at 3 tracks, and 11 podiums from 17 races, 3 pole positions, and the track lap records at Philip Island and the Grand Finale in Newcastle on his way to being crowned the Series Champion.

Never one to settle, Brook looked to back up his 2018 success and lead the 2019 Australian Toyota 86 Racing Series until the penultimate round, but still recorded a sensational third placing overall with (with 3x pole positions, 8x podiums, and 3x race wins). Tim also got a taste for growing TCR Australia series, with entries at both Sandown and The Bend, giving him three consecutive weekends across two categories honing his craft.

With COVID interrupting the 2020 Toyota Gazoo Racing Australia 86 Series, Brook was able to secure the only pole position of the season and 2 of the four race wins at Mount Panorama, Bathurst.
